Artist Statement
The arts contribute greatly to the wellbeing of society in many and varied ways. As artists, I think we are all ultimately making valuable observations and commentary on aspects of human existence and the way we relate to the world. Fashion waste, planned obsolescence and unsustainable manufacturing is a topic that concerns me. Wealthy first world nations are responsible for this and it's time we owned up to that."
Inspired by Nature
There is no beauty greater than a pristine natural environment. Moral Fibre uses art inspired by nature. It's colours, textures, lines, resilience and life sustaining magnificence.
Living creatures rely on the health and the maintenance of delicate balance in our river systems, forests, oceans and our deserts. When we make conscious and more sustainable consumer choices we are contributing to the health of these ecosystems that support us all.
Moral Fibre advocates for progress, not perfection. Small changes made by millions of fashion loving people across the world is the solution to tackling the issue of fashion waste.
